The ACS Repair Centre operation is accredited to perform Level 2 repairs of the complete range of VeriFone MagIC Point of Sale (POS) terminals as well as the Gemalto MagIC3 range of EFT / POS terminals. Proprietary diagnostic software is used to ensure that all repairs are completed to the manufacturers’ standards.
The ACS Repair Centre has the capacity to service in excess of 10,000 terminals per month. A complete range of spare parts are held to support the current installed base in excess of 200 000 units. There is a stock holding of more than R7 million in manufacturers approved spare parts for repairs.
In addition to terminal servicing repairs, the ACS Repair Centre performs the pre-delivery preparation and inspection on all new units before delivery, provides receiving & dispatch processes, interfaces to the logistics local & international partners, and provides MIS reporting.
On completion of repair the terminals are then moved through the system to our in-house secure facility for security key loading. The Repair Centre provides the capability to load all customer software on the MagIC 4 range of units before shipment.
All terminals are electronically managed through the workflow sections via the ACS ERP system.
